I tried to come up with a clever way to blog about this amazing family…but all I kept coming up with was one simple word…”friendship”
The Laughlin family has meant so much to me (and my family) throughout my entire life…literally. This is Drew and his awesome wife Marianna and their 2 lovely little one’s. What made this session so cool…was…not only is this Marianna’s families’ property, but this is also the location where Drew proposed (many-a-moons-ago). This session was shot on an extremely warm evening and I must say the kids were troopers…they did awesome! You can just see the love and commitment shown throughout these images…
~My prayer is for others to get to experience the kind of friendship our families have had for more than 30 years…it is truly a blessing.

Heirlooms
Sarah Kathryn and Mark were married earlier this summer, and though their photos are on the website (client section) I thought you may want to see some of my favorites from this gorgeous day!
I have a little book I keep notes in about each wedding…and being the type of girl I am, I have to title each wedding. Well this title sums up the whole experience of SK and Mark’s wedding…”Heirlooms”. The entire day was a carefully planned event. In each and every detail…things from his/her families were present. Heirlooms existed within her gown, jewelry, and veil…the list could go on and on.
Needless to say, I love tradition, and this day was full of past treasures brought in by new beginnings! Congratulations Sarah Kathryn and Mark! I hope you guys enjoy your photos!

Happy Monday! I am going to share a quick preview of a dear sweet bride…Shelby! We had a great time shooting these photos. She was so laid back and up for anything! That always makes for a great session and a wonderful time shooting! I will be posting her wedding to the blog very soon. However, if you would like to see it in it’s entirety just go to the client section on the website! They are easy to find…she is the bride laying (yes in her wedding dress) on the pier! I just love her! As I started to gather some of my favorites…I noticed that I chose all color images…except 2! That is not like me (especially in bridal shoots)…but it just did not fit her to be in black and white. She has to be bright and colorful. I hope you enjoy seeing a glimpse into this sweet bride’s personality!

I know you are all anxious to see some new images!
Lately, I have been posting nothing but weddings…and realized I have neglected to post some amazing portrait sessions! Don’t get me wrong…I am still no where near caught up in my postings (many more portrait and wedding sessions to come). That is why I am combining (again!). HELLO EVERYONE!
What an awesome wedding season this has been so far! I have been shooting many beautiful weddings over the past 2 months! (Just finished my 6th in a row!) I love how completely new and different each wedding proves to be. THANK YOU to all of my wonderful clients!
Now on to Heather and Andy. I simply love love love this sweet couple. They were so excited to be getting married…and nothing…not even rain could take the happiness and excitement away! It was an amazing location (The Reserve at Oak Bowery)…such a sweet southern charm! It was a completely outdoor wedding…and yes…we had RAIN. Lots and lots of rain! But, after rounding up many black umbrellas we were ready to go! Heather and Andy and their wedding party were great!!! They did not let a little (well a lot) of rain stop them from having a great time and making this day a wonderful memory for this sweet couple! The rain actually stopped a few minutes before the ceremony allowing us to get some great images on the grounds. (Thanks guys for allowing me to drag you outside for the pics!)

Dustin and Julie are such a cool couple! When we discussed their vision for this session , I thought one word… “PERFECT”. They are such a happy laid back couple that wanted the realism of their lives to show thru in their photographs! Again I thought “perfect”. So, they decided they wanted a picnic with wine, and an evening at their home in front of their outdoor chimney. It was so nice! What a cool engagement session! Here are some pics of our evening!
